So we have this blog thing, see

This is (Sam and) William, who we stayed with for our first week in Buenos Aires. He lives outside of town; this is us waiting to get on the train from Palermo at 3:50 AM. This is also Sam wondering what he is going to eat tomorrow.

This is (more or less) what he ate tomorrow. We did a lot of dumpster diving - William has some favorite spots and vegetable stores down here throw a hell of a lot of stuff away. They just leave it in crates outside their shops every night for the trash guys to come pick up. This booty is from a single night´s work.

We went camping at this place called Tigre outside of the city. It was a national CouchSurfing get together (CS is this thing on the internet... educate yourself you fools) and there was a whole field filled up with tents and lots and lots of Argentines and foreigners and many hippies. Everyone stayed up all night and then in the morning the sun was really hot and our tents turned into little ovens so Sam went and slept on the grass.

This is Sam (me) cooking in Tigre. Because I was cooking mad people came up to me and asked for food and I talked to them in spanish and felt good about myself.

Things to look forward to on this blog:
1) We will show you the apartment we live in.
2) We will show you a series of photographs of the tops of tables.
3) Nora will write about things too.
4) We are going to Uruguay for Christmas...
